Vivienne Westwood, Nova Cocotte w/ Detachable Cape

The iconic Vivienne Westwood’s Nova Cocotte dress, made in a ivory silk cady with a matching Galaxy cape that can be detached for two different looks. Also sold with the Vivienne Westwood cathedral veil.

The dress was worn for a few hours and has been professionally dry cleaned; there are some marks still visible at the back hem, I can provide images and videos. When the dress is worn, the marks are less visible due to the draping at the back, and if worn with the cape, they can't be seen at all. The dress is otherwise in great condition, as are the cape and veil. Price is reflective of the flaws on the dress. The dress comes with the original dress bag and hanger.

This is such a flattering dress as well as very comfortable. The dress has a bustle back to lift it for dancing. The straps have been tacked so they can be worn asymmetrically (this is a popular styling technique for this dress) but the stitch can be removed so the front is a wider cowl and the dress is worn off the shoulders. No alterations have otherwise been made to the dress. The dress is a label size 10 but best fits a UK 8/10. I am 5ft6 and the dress was floor length with heels, there is a small train.
